It is action philosophy, the Korean
art of Self-defense. Literally translated,
it means foot, hand and art. However,
it is much more than kicking and

Tae Kwon Do?
TKD is ideal for students of any age or sex.
It is not a dangerous activity. It is taught to
anyone aged 5 and up for mental and
physical development as well as for self
defense. It is not necessary to have previous
experience, nor is it ever too late to start. The
cardiovascular, muscular, and mental benefits are to be enjoyed by all participants whether they are Male, Female, Small, Large, Weak or Strong it makes no difference.
